Library Assistant - Wolcott Public Library has an immediate opening for a Library Assistant, up to 22 hours weekly, $12.25/hour, including evening hours and Saturdays. Responsibilities include introducing patrons to all library services, issuing library cards, collecting and resolving fines and fees, technology support, and other duties under the supervision of the library director. Successful candidate must possess excellent customer service skills and technology skills, must be reliable and have the ability to multi-task. Library Technology Support Specialist - Town of Killingly

Library Technology Support Specialist - The Town of Killingly is seeking a part-time Library Technology Support Specialist to maintain the Library computer equipment, network, software, website and social media. The candidate must interact effectively with the public and be able to multi-task. This is a 25 hour per week position which includes day, evening and Saturday hours. An Associate’s Degree in a technical field and an A+ Certification and Library experience preferred. Part-Time Technology Assistant - Wilton Library

Part-Time Technology Assistant - Wilton Library seeks a Part-Time Technology Assistant to perform a variety of technology support duties including: set up audio/visual equipment and presentations for library programs and rentals, along with basic help desk duties and other projects. These may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office, printing, and scanning. Qualifications: Excellent computer and problem solving skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and ability to troubleshoot social media and YouTube questions. Demonstrated attention to detail and willingness to work under the direction of the Assistant Director of Technology and the Webmaster; interact well with staff, program presenters, and renters. Ability to work well under pressure and maintain good customer service demeanor in a dynamic environment. Must be able to push a cart weighing about 60 pounds. Part-time hourly position: Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday mornings (9 am-12 pm). Flexibility to cover other hours as needed. The YOUmedia Mentor is an instructor, artist, and technologist who guides youth as they explore digital media and library resources. This position will assist with the implementation and use of various technologies and is also responsible for trouble-shooting technological difficulties and the set-up for YOUmedia events. This position ensures the highest level of service is provided by staff to all customers. Bachelor's required. Instructional technology, web or graphic design, music production, or a related discipline preferred. Library Assistant – The John P. Webster Library at First Church, West Hartford, CT seeks a part-time Library Assistant.
