     Job Summary: The Library Clerk provides support to faculty, staff and students in meeting their information needs and assists in research endeavors across the curriculum. Responsibilities include readers advisory, cataloguing, library resource processing, ordering, inter-library loan processing, shelving, inventory, book repair, computer scheduling, and other tasks as assigned by the library media specialist.
     Qualifications: Associates Degree (minimum requirement), college degree in education preferred; knowledge of library procedures; demonstrated high level of technology skills.

Strong knowledge and background in working with teachers and students to integrate all facets of a middle school curriculum. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal relationship skills. Leadership skills in conducting workshops and developing new projects within the school. Ability to develop and teach technology research skills. Expertise in online research skills and wireless technology. Ability to set up a vision for the use of technology throughout the Middle school curricular offerings.
