Part Time Library Assistants - Trinity College Library, Hartford. We are seeking three part time library assistants to help cover evening and weekend library operations: The Evening Interlibrary Loan Assistant processes incoming and outgoing interlibrary loan requests. In the absence of the evening circulation assistant, may also occasionally oversee the Circulation desk and be responsible for closing the building. Work hours for this position are just for the academic year Sunday-Thursday 10pm-1am (15 hours per week) when classes are in session. Starting salary $14.21/hr depending on experience. The Evening Circulation Assistant oversees evening building operations with special focus on Library Circulation. Manages student assistants and service desk operations, maintains public equipment, and closes the building. Also assists in stacks maintenance activities including shelving, paging, and inventory control. Starting salary $14.21/hr depending on experience. Work hours for this position during the academic year is Thursday-Saturday 5:00pm-10:00pm (15 hours per week) with optional weekday daytime hours during the summer and when classes are not in session. Starting salary $14.21/hr depending on experience. The Weekend Library Assistant oversees weekend building operations with specific assignments in cataloging and circulation areas. Assists student assistants with service desk operations, maintains public equipment, and opens the building. Also assists with cataloging and processing materials for the library collections. Work hours for this position during the academic year are Saturday and Sunday 9:30am-6:00pm (15 hours per week) with optional weekday daytime hours available during the summer term and when classes are not in session.
