Director - Simsbury Public Library.
The Town of Simsbury, population 23,500, is consistently ranked as one
of the best places to live in the country. The Library Director is
responsible for leading this progressive and innovative Library with a
staff of 18 FTE and $1.4m annual budget. The Director advocates for the
Library, plans and oversees a comprehensive offering of valuable
programs serving all facets of the community, and implements policies
established by the Library Board of Trustees. The Library is a
Department of the Town of Simsbury. This 40 hrs/wk position has a salary
range of $70,000-$105,000 and full benefits package. Minimum
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Library Science from an
ALA-accredited program. 6 years of progressively responsible experience
in library work. A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience. All
