and their families to its most creative levels? The nationally-ranked
Henry Carter Hull Library is seeking you, an innovative, energetic
Children’s Librarian to manage its award-winning Children’s Department.
Your understanding of child development allows you to engage with
children easily and meaningfully. Your warmth makes kids and their
caregivers regard the library as their second home. Your knowledge of

programs and learning opportunities for infants to tweens. As a

youngsters to unique and valuable knowledge and skills. You adore new
technologies, and as a natural teacher, you eagerly share all the new
innovations. You are a marketing genius at promoting library programs;
your outreach brings in new users daily. You value open communication,
collaboration and team-work. You are famous for how clearly you keep
everyone “in the loop”, for making the first call to a potential town
partner, and the smooth interaction you have with your co-workers. And
it won’t take you long to realize that the 6 staff members in the
Children’s Room are the most hardworking and delightful people you’ve
ever met and the Director supports unequivocally your ideas and
willingness to take risks. In fact, the entire staff at HCH Library
shares the core values you treasure: a passion for library service, the
power of a positive attitude and compassion for our patrons.
