Access Services Assistant - Loomis Chaffee School,
Windsor. Job Status: Non Exempt/Part-time (15 hours) Academic Year.
Start Date: January 2013. The Katharine Brush Library at The Loomis
Chaffee School is searching for an Access Services Assistant. General
duties and responsibilities are administer and maintain aspects of the
print and the electronic book collection, with a focus on the
periodicals collection. Serve at the information desk and assist library
patrons. The Loomis Chaffee School is an independent, coeducational
boarding/day school of 650 students and 150 faculty members, located in
the historic town of Windsor, Connecticut. Chartered in 1874, the school
provides an academically challenging curriculum within a supportive
community that affirms individual beliefs and differences. Need-based
financial aid is currently awarded to 34 percent of the student body.
