Library Development Coordinator - Mystic & Noank Library

Library Development Coordinator - Mystic & Noank Library seeks a Library Development Coordinator responsible for fundraising and publicity, $20/hr. The Development Coordinator of Mystic & Noank Library is a part-time position, regularly 15 hours a week, but up to 25 hours a week on a flexible schedule, totaling less than 20 hours per week annually. The Development Coordinator is responsible for the fund-raising efforts on behalf of the Library and reports to the Library Director and also works closely with the Board of Trustees and the Development Committee and attends scheduled meetings to review ongoing activities. The main responsibilities are to conduct the Annual Fund Drive, perform public relations duties, timely acknowledgement of gifts, coordinate special events, plan and coordinate an annual Gala fundraising dinner, assist in the formation of changing committees established to meet the changing monetary needs of the Library, and to provide leadership in carrying out the fund-raising goals of the Board. Superior communication and gracious public relations skills, fundraising, grant writing, computer skills, experience with Donor Perfect, development experience, event planning skills, and a college degree are required.
