Part-time Reference/Cataloger Librarian - Arnold Bernhard Library, Quinnipiac University, Hamden. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will provide reference assistance to undergraduates, graduate students and faculty within the library and through other mediums. As a member of the reference team, the librarian will meet with Quinnipiac community members in the library, online and via phone. Familiarity with a wide range of electronic resources is expected as well as a desire to learn about new research tools and the curiosity to go beyond the expected sources. Will provide Reference desk coverage on Saturdays. In addition, this position will perform cataloging and classifying of print and non-print library collection and media services resources. These duties include but are not limited to copy and original cataloging of multiple formats using Innovative (III) guidelines, OCLC, LCSH, MESH, AACR2, MARC, and RDA. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with Innovative preferred.
