Library Associate - New Britain Public Library

Library Associate - New Britain Public Library. Part-time position (20 hrs/wk) for Adult Programmer that includes at least one evening per week, as well as alternate Fridays & Saturdays. Responsible for creating, publicizing, implementing, and tracking the results of adult programs and Outreach services to the community under the supervision of the Head of Adult Services. Additional duties include backup on various service points. Interfaces with all other departments to assure good communication and parallel marketing efforts library-wide. Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of experience in programming and marketing of public library services. Ability to research and analyze data, to perform detailed work, and to plan, organize, and implement both long and short termed projects.
