Supervisor of Youth Library Services / Librarian II - Portland Public Library. Energetic, professional person responsible for children’s services of public library responsible for collection building, programming, outreach and communications with schools and other agencies; will be part of planning team; works with part time staff and volunteers; provides information service to adults, children, and teens. Subject to pre-employment drug/alcohol testing. Requirements: ALA/MLS. Experience in children’s department in a public or school library; demonstrated computer skills; organizational abilities. Previous supervisory experience is desirable; must have valid driver’s license, physical dexterity and visual acuity.
