Children's Collection Specialist - Ridgefield Library

Collection Specialist (Materials Management), Children's Services Department - Ridgefield Library. The Children’s Collection Specialist works within the Children’s Department and is responsible for the entire life cycle of the materials in the department, from ordering and receiving to processing and classification to maintaining and disposition. S/he will work with the Department Head and other staff to prioritize and carry out goals to optimize the patron experience as well as staff workflow. S/he will also collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency of practices and standards regarding the collection. Full-time (35 hours/week).
