Reference/Cataloging Librarian - Three Rivers Community College

Part-Time Reference/Cataloging Librarian - Three Rivers Community College. 17 hours per week. Anticipated Starting Date: August 2010. Minimum Qualifications: MLS from ALA accredited program. One or more years professional academic Reference and cataloging experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with web page design. Also, experience working with an integrated library system. RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Director of Library Services, the Librarian will perform Reference and Cataloging duties: Reference: will provide instruction and reference assistance to students, faculty and the public, with emphasis placed on use of electronic resources including internet resources. The reference librarian will be involved in collection development. Cataloging: Responsibilities include original and copy cataloging, classification of information in all formats, authority work, cataloging and processing of new materials. MINIMUM SALARY: $29.88 per hour.
