Library Director - Warner Library, Tarrytown, NY

Library Director - The Trustees of the Warner Library in Tarrytown, New York (pop. 21,000) are seeking a director to provide strong leadership and inspiration for 25 PT and FT employees at our 22,000 square foot municipal facility. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience in library operations and management. Candidate must show ability to develop a complex (and shrinking) $1 million annual budget, create outreach programs for a diverse community, assist with marketing and fundraising for the library, and have some proficiency in Spanish. Salary range: $60,000 to $85,000, with one-year probationary period. Candidate must have MLS and must qualify for permanent position by taking the Westchester County Civil Service test for Library Director II.
