Cataloging/Reference Librarian - Three Rivers Community College, Norwich. Full time. Anticipated Starting Date: January 2009. Minimum Qualifications: MLS from ALA accredited program. One or more years professional academic cataloging and reference experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with web page design. Also, experience working with an integrated library system. RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Director of Library Services, the Cataloging: Responsibilities include original and copy cataloging, classification of information in all formats, authority work, cataloging and processing of new materials. The Cataloging librarian will be involved in collection development and acts as a liaison to the faculty. Reference: will provide some instruction and reference assistance to students, faculty and the public, with emphasis placed on use of electronic resources including internet resources. MINIMUM SALARY: $28.47.
