Librarian - Hyde School, Woodstock

Librarian - Hyde School is seeking librarian with an MLS or M.Ed. degree. This is a full-time, faculty position. Candidates will be expected to work successfully with students and staff, be knowledgeable about all aspects of school librarianship and continue to build a strong academic environment that is friendly and welcoming. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing information skills instruction to classes and individuals; maintaining and developing the resources of the library; acquisition and cataloging of new materials; managing the budget; teaming with faculty so that information skills are a regular part of the learning environment. At Hyde, faculty members are expected to participate in the Hyde character culture which includes working with students and families, to live in on-campus housing, to participate in dorm life and sports.
