Librarian - Saint Mary's Hospital, Waterbury

Librarian - Saint Mary's Hospital, Waterbury. Full-Time M-F 8:00-4:30. In collaboration with the Director of Library Services, the responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, coordinating the library's outreach activities to teaching programs and community physicians, developing the electronic resource collection, managing e-journal licensing agreements, coordinating interlibrary loan service, conducting database searches and other research. Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a related field. M.L.S. or M.L.I.S. preferred. 1-2 years experience working in a medical or scientific library preferred. Other skill requirements include: internet and biomedical database searching, reference /research, knowledge of library systems and medical terminology. Strong knowledge of web-based health resources and scholarly literature in the health sciences preferred. Proficiency using Microsoft Office preferred.
