Director of Library Services - Western Connecticut State University. The Director of Library Services reports to the Provost and is responsible for the coordination, supervision, and direction of all aspects of the library operation. This includes staff organization and development; physical plant; fiscal management and planning; activities and services such as library instruction; collection development; faculty, student and administrative relations; cooperation with other libraries; policy recommendations; and long and short range planning. The successful candidate will possess: Master's degree in Library Science or the equivalent (Doctorate preferred) and six years of experience in library administration with a demonstrated record of formulating and implementing library services policies and staff supervision are required. Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills are required.
