Librarian - Katharine Brush Library, Loomis Chaffee School

Librarian - Start Date: Late August 2011. Job Status: 30 hours, Academic year. The Katharine Brush Library at The Loomis Chaffee School is searching for a dynamic and progressive professional Librarian (Librarian I, II, or III). One of three professional librarians, the Librarian will assume the primary responsibility of managing technical services. The Librarian will also have major involvement in the many public services aspects of the Library, including: instruction, reference, collection development, and will serve as a department liaison. The Loomis Chaffee School is a four-year, coeducational, college-preparatory boarding school located on a 300-acre campus in historic Windsor, Conn. Chartered in 1874 by five siblings who had outlived all of their children, the school embodies their democratic and inclusive vision.
