Librarian, Technology Services - Middlebury Public Library

Librarian, Technology Services - Full-time in a public library setting. Middlebury Public Library is a member of Bibliomation, a consortium using Horizon as the ILS. The position requires strong technology skills with the ability to organize, direct and expand all library functions, equipment and operations related to computer technology, including teaching computer classes to the public and troubleshooting of equipment. Maintaining the library website and introducing and using social networking is required. The position includes working with the public at the circulation desk as part of the job duties. The library is in the process of developing a teen program and this position would be part of the development team. Public library experience recommended. Four year college degree required, MLS a plus. Evening and Saturday hours included. EOE/AA. Excellent benefits included.
