Facilities Planning Manager - Hartford Public Library

Facilities Planning Manager - Hartford Public Library seeks a creative and flexible individual to identify the need for a wide range of Library improvements from small interior renovations, to existing or leased space and to multi-million dollar capital projects, including new construction, renovation and expansion projects. This full time manager will develop and maintain a comprehensive facilities management plan for the Library system. Qualifications: Three to five years of professional experience as a facilities planner for a library or other public institution is required, or four years of varied and increasingly responsible experience in facilities project management, regional planning, real property leasing, architectural design, or construction management. Ability to work independently, solve problems, think strategically, handle confidential information, and navigate sensitive situations. A positive attitude, collaborative philosophy, flexibility and a sense of humor are key success factors. Possession of professional registration as an architect or a degree in architecture is highly desirable. Salary range: $2150 - $2902 biweekly.
