Head of Technical Services - The Canton Public Library is seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual to supervise the technical services operations at dynamic public library in community of 9,600. Administers the integrated library system (Sirsi-Dynix) including database management, cataloging, collection development and technology. Requirements: MLS from an ALA accredited program and three years of library experience or a Bachelor's Degree and five years of experience. Thorough knowledge of bibliographic standards and practices along with proficient skills for hands on support of the library's computer operations. Commitment to excellence in customer service. 35 hour work week includes one evening and weekends in rotation. Municipal benefits package. Salary range is $40,000 - $45,000.
