Director - Levi E. Coe Library, Middlefield

Director - The Levi E. Coe Library Association invites applications for the position of Director. The Coe Library, located in Middlefield, CT, is open Monday and Tuesday 1-8 PM, Wednesday and Thursday 10AM - 5 PM, and Saturdays 10 AM - 5 PM. The position is 35 hours per week with a salary of $40,190 plus benefits. Minimum qualifications: MLS from a ALA accredited school (strongly preferred) or a combination of education and experience; knowledge of library organization, technology, and financial procedures, and a broad understanding of library services; 3- 5 years increasingly responsible administrative experience, and familiarity with automated library systems, demonstrated ability to train and supervise personnel, good interpersonal and communication skills; familiarity with current library trends.
