We are currently seeking a Library Services Associate to join us in our Short Hills or Boston office. Responsibilities: Work with the business unit or local office leaders regarding acquisition of information materials - Review and evaluate electronic and print resources leading to recommendations for business unit expenditures - Prepare and present reports related to annual expenditure/savings, opportunities for cost reduction, options for online products versus print, and analysis of library general ledger accounts for appropriateness of charges - Manage a caseload of local offices, working with Partners and Office Managers regarding library functions and collections - Train local office personnel in the operation of library management software in person and via online interactive programs - Focus on customer service in order for end-users to have a contact who is responsive, helpful, and will work to quickly resolve problems - Facilitate publication acquisitions for area and local offices through national purchasing center such as books, journals and technical publications - Receive approvals, maintain internal computer systems, process invoices, and distribute materials - Coordinate orders for KPMG publications with distribution or other internal publication centers - Order, distribute and process debits, and maintain internal computer systems - Process materials utilizing internal computer systems for local office library or distribution to area local offices including, cataloging, labeling, and routing - Perform routing of journals and periodicals within the area and local office, utilizing internal computer systems - Check materials and route them to local offices, update database as needed, track overdue issues and utilize routing reports to keep publication listing current - Coordinate bulk order purchases for the area, including working with business unit leaders to determine area and local office needs - Manage distribution of bulk orders in local office - Maintain small library collections of print in assigned offices including: books, journals, and technical publications - Train accounting and administrative professionals in the effective utilization of online and print resources in order to access required information - Act as an internal resource for finding needed information quickly - Work with local office operations Directors and Managers and library designees regarding local office library functions. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university - Experience in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and e-mail - Three years of experience in library technical services including acquisitions and library materials management - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Work well without direct supervision and posess flexibility.
