Head of Children’s Services - Wolcott Public Library

Head of Children’s Services - Wolcott Public Library. This is a full time 40 hour position that includes some evening hours and some Saturdays. The successful candidate will be responsible for all activities related to children’s services, including but not limited to developing and maintaining the children’s collection, planning and executing programming for all ages, reader’s advisory and community outreach. Strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. The salary range is $18.00-$19.00 per hour which includes paid sick, vacation, and holiday days, as well as medical benefits. Education and experience include an MLS and at least two years of public library experience in children’s services OR an equivalent combination of experience and education.
