Computer Technician (LTA)

New Britain Public Library full-time position (37.5 hrs/wk). Associate’s degree and post-secondary training and/or experience, preferably 3 years in computer equipment and software systems.  Strong knowledge of LANS, CD-ROM’s, and file servers particularly in the Windows Server 2008R2 or Windows Server 2012R2 Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems.  Ability to set up all aspects of a computer including configuration, installation and maintenance of software, hardware and peripheral troubleshooting, etc.  Knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft, and Windows software.
