Trenton Free Public Library Join New Jersey’s capital city library as Director of the Trenton Free Public Library. Trenton Free Public Library Board of Trustees is looking for a proven and dedicated leader with a record of success. The Director will help to create a service program that addresses the needs of parents, children, teens, college students, job seekers, new immigrants and state and city employees. Our Academy Street, 1902 library, is poised for a renewal in use, image and renovation with a new children’s room, refreshed teen area and community space in progress. EDUCATION: A Master’s Degree in Library or Information Science or a degree in a related field is required (or a pending enrollment in one). EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years of library experience, two (2) years of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity. Knowledge of Civil Service rules is a plus.
