Head of Circulation - Woodbridge Town Library.

 The Woodbridge Town Library is accepting applications for a full time Head of Circulation. The successful candidate will be passionate about helping patrons and about leading a motivated team of assistants. This position manages a staff of six assistants, as well as several pages and volunteers, and also acts as an integral part of the library’s management team. Major duties include supervising, scheduling and training all circulation staff; ensuring the smooth operation of all circulation functions; and providing friendly and consistent patron service.  Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least two years of related experience. A demonstrated strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills are required. Supervisory experience and knowledge of library automation systems (especially Sierra) are preferred. This position is 35 Hours per week, including evening and weekend hours.
