Administrative Services Assistant - The UConn’s Office of the Vice Provost for University Libraries seeks candidates for an Administrative Services Assistant III (UCP 4). The individual chosen for this position will have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to organize and prioritize work, while performing multiple tasks successfully. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience including 4-8 years of experience in a progressively responsible administrative support position. Demonstrated supervisory ability. Strong demonstrated organizational, writing and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills; Ability to effectively work with faculty, staff, students, and other members of a University community. Strong demonstrated practice of and commitment to customer service. Ability to resolve administrative problems efficiently, effectively and independently. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Ability to prioritize work while independently performing multiple tasks successfully. Previous administrative experience in an academic setting. Previous experience supervising student or support staff in an academic setting. Previous experience with donor information database systems. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. This is a full-time position, with an anticipated start date of January 9, 2015.
