Building Operations Manager - Wilton Library Association, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is seeking an experienced Building Operations Manager. Responsible for overall management of building and grounds, including commercial HVAC, lighting, and security systems. Candidates must be familiar with regulatory compliance and reporting associated with building operations. Computer skills (Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2007) and experience in using facilities management software and budget preparation are essential. Must be able to interpret and explain relevant policies and procedures, and successfully train, supervise, and direct custodial staff. Experience in custodial, housekeeping service, and equipment use is required. Working knowledge of project management, trade work, remodeling, or construction is desirable. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education or experience; minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in building operations and maintenance; good oral, written, and electronic communication skills; knowledge of Spanish a plus. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with management, co-workers, outside contractors, vendors, teams of volunteers, as well as Town departments. Must be hands-on, versatile, flexible, and able to work evenings and weekends as necessary. Must also be able to push a cart weighing 300 lbs., climb ladders, and lift 50 pounds.
