Library Support Staff (P/T) - Beacon Falls Public Library

Library Support Staff (P/T) - Beacon Falls Public Library seeks a friendly, customer-focused library assistant. Duties include but are not limited to general circulation and patron assistance, and shelving. Irregular hours, limited to no more than 20 hours per week. Regular schedule includes every Saturday and up to two evenings each week until 8PM. Work assignments may include morning, afternoon, or evening shifts. Scheduling flexibility is a must! Fills in when regular staff members are unavailable. Minimum requirement: high school diploma or GED. Prior library experience preferred. Salary $11.00/hour, non-union position, no benefits. Applications can picked up at the Office of the First Selectman, 10 Maple Avenue, Beacon Falls, CT from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 P.M. – 4:00 PM (no later than 2:30 on Fridays). Deadline for submissions of applications, along with a cover letter, resume, and three letters of reference to the First Selectman’s office is November 14, 2013 at 4:30PM. EOE.
