Outreach/Instruction Librarian - Trinity College Library
Outreach/Instruction Librarian - [Ed. note: Salary unknown] Trinity College Library seeks
a librarian to coordinate its outreach, publications, and public
relations activities. This work includes support for fundraising, donor
relations, and events planning. The Outreach Librarian participates in
the Library’s research and instruction program; helps to develop the
collaboration with academic programs, services, and student groups; and
serves as contact for various campus offices and external communities.
Minimum Qualifications: ALA accredited MLS; research and instruction
experience in an academic library; creativity, energy, and a strong
commitment to library outreach; excellent writing, editing, and
presentation skills; strong interpersonal and collaborative skills;
ability to communicate effectively and tactfully in a variety of
settings; excellent organizational skills, and ability to balance
varied responsibilities. Desirable technical skills include facility
with word- processing and spreadsheets, presentation software, web
design, and desk-top publishing. Review of applications will begin
