Youth Services (full-time) - Hartford Public Library seeks creative and flexible individual for youth services. Responsibilities: Plan and implement programs for children and families, including family literacy; participate in collection development; develop partnerships with schools and organizations. Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; one year experience working with youth and families. Preferred: verbal and written fluency in Spanish; experience in Early Literacy concepts and programming, Summer Reading planning and programming, and storytimes from 0-5. MLS preferred. Salary Range: $1,216-$1,458 bi-weekly plus benefits.
