Teen Services/Reference Librarian - Windsor Public Library
Teen Services/Reference Librarian - Town of Windsor. Windsor Public Library is seeking a full-time (40 hr/wk), ALA accredited MLS with experience serving teens in a public library. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, all aspects of collection development for teen materials, programming for teens and community/school liaison. Windsor PL has a strong commitment to serving its teen users through outreach, a teen advisory group, a newly expanded teen collection and programs that are both age-specific and intergenerational. As a member of the Adult Services Team, the successful candidate will also work the reference desk, help all levels of library users find materials and information in the library, assist with computers and work closely with other members of the reference staff team to coordinate and deliver services to teens & adults. Candidates should have strong inter-personal skills, organizational skills with attention to details, comfort with technology and social media, creativity, and a solid understanding of library theory. Evening and weekend shifts are required. Starting salary range is $50,000-$55,000 commensurate with experience, including an excellent benefits package.
