Information Literacy Librarian - Bay Path College, Burlington, MA Campus. Bay Path College, a pioneer in innovative academic programs since 1897 and ranked in the top tier by U.S. News & World Report, seeks a part-time librarian to provide information literacy instruction and reference services to students, faculty, and staff at Bay Path’s Burlington Campus. Teach research strategies in a library and classroom setting; offer traditional and electronic research assistance to students in all disciplines in the One Day (Saturday) accelerated program; assist students through the research process, including use of print and electronic resources, source evaluation, and other aspects of research and writing; assist students with assignments in basic college courses; and help tutor students in basic English or math skills as needed. Manage the campus library; serve as Burlington Campus liaison with the Hatch Library on the Longmeadow Campus; and develop student and faculty awareness of library services. Consult with faculty to determine information literacy needs in relation to the curriculum; help create library web pages; and perform routine library duties including circulation and collection maintenance. MLS required. Experience teaching or tutoring college students in English or math skills preferred. Must be willing to work evenings and Saturdays for up to 19 hours per week.
