Teen Services Internship - The Farmington Libraries seek a current MLS student for an exciting internship opportunity as the temporary leave replacement for our teen librarian. This paid, 25 hour part-time position will run from July 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010. The successful applicant will be dynamic and energetic, with the ability to relate well to a diverse and lively teen constituency. Primary responsibilities include selecting and maintaining the teen collection, programming, volunteer coordination and supervision, reference, and reader’s advisory. The position requires strong technology skills, including a mastery of Facebook, and preference will be given to applicants with web design proficiency.
