Library Director - D.M. Hunt Library, Falls Village

Library Director - The D.M. Hunt Library, a small, award winning public library in Northwestern Connecticut is seeking a friendly, creative and resourceful library director for a 35 hour position with benefits. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: working closely with the library board and community in fund development; organizing and implementing library programs and services; fiscal management and supervision of staff. Minimum qualifications: a bachelor's degree and five years experience in library services, an MLS preferred but not required. Preferred qualifications: an ability to both lead and be a team player; ease in working with all age and social groups; an appreciation of the arts community; an understanding of library technology. Grant writing experience a plus.
