Head of Children's Library - Wilton Library

Head of Children's Library - Award-winning Wilton Library Association, Inc. seeks an MLS Librarian to head its Children's Library. Required are a love for children and their literature, high energy and enthusiasm levels, and the willingness to work in a strong team environment. In addition to administrative experience, the successful candidate will be able to communicate well with all ages (donors, customers, and staff members alike), organize work priorities, plan and implement creative programs, perform excellent reference and readers advisory service, evaluate and select materials, be a leader and mentor in decision making for the department, and possess a high degree of relevant technological expertise. This is a full-time exempt position with full benefits. Salary commensurate with experience, meeting or exceeding the CLA minimum. Wilton Library is an equal opportunity employer.
