Evening/Weekend Undergraduate Education/User Experience Librarian - University Librarian I UCP 5, University of Connecticut Libraries. Under the general supervision of the Undergraduate Education Team Leader, and working in close collaboration with other members of the Undergraduate Education Team, the Undergraduate Education/User Experience Librarian provides leadership within the libraries for investigating and recommending strategies to enhance the learning experience of undergraduate library users. Minimum Qualifications: 1. A graduate degree in Library and Information Science from a program accredited by the American Library Association. 2. Strong motivation and enthusiasm for enhancing undergraduate learning. 3. Demonstrated ability to provide information literacy instruction. 4. Demonstrated working knowledge of computer-based technologies, including Web Page creation technologies and Web 2.0 applications. 5. Excellent interpersonal skills 6. Excellent communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience assessing library programs and services 2. Experience in usability testing 3. Experience investigating user behavior 4. Experience assessing undergraduate information literacy skills development. 5. Experience developing online learning objects, videos, and other multimedia applications to provide information literacy instruction. 6. Experience with desktop publishing.
