Information Services Lead - United Way of Connecticut

Information Services Lead - FT. United Way of Connecticut, Rocky Hill. Skills Required: The Information Services Lead fulfills all job responsibilities of an Information Coordinator, with the additional responsibility of supporting the supervisory function of the Director of Information Services. Works closely with the Director to maintain the standards and supervise the work of 2-1-1 Information Coordinators; also works closely with Information Coordinator staff to achieve excellence in the quality of information collected, processed, and edited, so that the databases serve the internal needs of 2-1-1 Specialists, as well as meet the requirements of external users of 2-1-1's database products. Bachelor's Degree in Library Sciences or related field required. Three years experience in related field required. Editing skills and experience required. Data processing skills required. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint required. Research or library background preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Teaching experience a plus. Working knowledge of Refer software a plus. Ability to organize large quantities of information. Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities. Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing. Ability to relate well with people in supervisory, peer, and professional relationships. Extremely detail-oriented. Dedication to goal of accuracy and consistency. Ability to work well as a member of a team. Ability to work independently. Full time position with on-call responsibility in times of disaster.
