Librarian I (Business Manager) - Town of Newington. The Lucy Robbins Welles Library is seeking a Business Manager to provide administrative support for the library. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist in budget preparation and other accounting functions. Manage office functions and support to Library Administrators, Library Board and Friends of the Library. Prepare various reports as requested of a statistical and informational nature. Responsible for the training and supervision of volunteers and other assigned staff. Graduation from a recognized college or university and/or Master's Degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited library school or an equivalent combination of training and experience. $1,575 biweekly. Part-time Coordinator of Children's Services - Wanted for small, rural library. 19 hours per week. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, previous experience working with children preferred. Prior library experience a plus. Duties include planning and conducting storytimes, promoting children's programming, purchasing materials, and some circulation desk duties.
