The selected candidates will play an important role in helping make the Library a stimulating place for people of all ages to engage, connect and utilize all the best resources. They will be wizards at teaching patrons and staff how to use technology from e-readers to on-line databases. This is the ideal position for engaging professionals who understand patrons' needs, enjoy guiding them to the right solutions and who are sleuths at heart. Requires: Comfort with working in a fast-paced changing environment; will have excellent research skills; progressive experience in knowledge-based environments, such as a Library, and advanced computer skills. MLS is desirable but not required. While the primary responsibility will be reference support, these positions require a willingness to help in any area of the library. Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Availability to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
