The Wahlstrom Library seeks a dynamic, experienced Instruction and Information Literacy Librarian to work 4 or 5 days a week for 12 months a year. Cultivating relationships with students and faculty, the Instruction and Information Literacy Librarian develops and implements an effective plan for Library Instruction and Information Literacy that is aligned with University goals, accreditation requirements, and best practices.
The incumbent develops and delivers curriculum and teaching materials to support a broad range of instructional activities. By encouraging collaborative partnerships, this Librarian works to embed information literacy instruction and assessment in the curriculum, Canvas, and classroom teaching.
As a member of the General Education Committee, the Instruction and Information Literacy Librarian will be an advocate and expert for information literacy across the campus. He/she supports academic programs such as business, humanities, education, engineering and technology, social sciences, and criminal justice at the undergraduate and graduate level.
This individual works with the Health Sciences Librarian to offer consistent support for the university.

QUALIFICATIONS - Education, Training and Experience: The qualifications required would generally be acquired with a MLS or MLIS degree from an ALA-accredited and 2 years’ experience in Information Literacy curriculum design in an academic library or any equivalent combination of education, work experience and training.
