The Town of Waterford is looking for a Part-Time Custodian II at the Waterford Public Library:
$20.51/hr, No Benefits
Saturday Hours: 7:00am – 10:00am
Sunday Hours: 11:00am – 1:00pm (Mid-October through Mid-March)
Fill in Hours as Needed
PURPOSE OF POSITION: To maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the library building and grounds with responsibility for security of building on evenings and/or weekends. In the absence of the Building & Grounds Manager, assure proper operation of mechanical and electrical systems in the library.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill & Ability): Knowledge of materials, methods and equipment used in building, custodial and grounds maintenance work. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Must be capable of working without direct supervision. Ability to perform physical tasks with some degree of strength and stamina, some knowledge of custodial duties, and possession of a valid motor vehicle license.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING: A least one year of related experience preferred.
