Digital Access Specialist - Town of Mansfield, CT

The Town of Mansfield is hiring a Digital Access Specialist, who will be based at the Mansfield Public Library. This is a 35 hour per week, grant funded position, with a projected start date of May 2023 and projected end date of May 2025.

The Digital Access Specialist will provide assistance to community members who need affordable home internet service, affordable internet capable devices, and/or coaching in introductory digital skills in order to become effective internet users and access public information resources. The Specialist will work closely with Library staff and the IT department to ensure websites, applications, equipment and other technologies are accessible to community members.

The successful applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years’ relevant experience; OR a combination of education and experience that would provide the knowledge, skills and abilities required as listed in the complete job description. This position requires a varied work schedule including evenings and weekends. Must possess and retain a valid Motor Vehicle Driver’s License.
