Part-time Librarian/Library Assistant – The
Ferguson Library in Stamford is looking for an energetic and
enthusiastic librarian or library school student to assist with a
variety of tasks at its Weed-Hollander Memorial and Harry Bennett
Branches. Both branches serve neighborhoods with active seniors,
families, and children from the nearby Springdale Elementary School
(Weed) and Turn of River Middle School (Harry Bennett.) With the support
of fellow staff members and a supervisor committed to cross training,
the successful candidate will have the ability to work independently in a
variety of settings, while learning about all aspects of library work
at an IMLS National Medal Finalist library.
Schedule:
Part-time position, 19 hours/week, weekdays during the day and on
occasional evenings till 7:00 p.m.; Saturdays in rotation, as the
schedule requires. Salary range for this position begins at $27.15/hr.
