Programmer/Analyst/Cataloger - The Donohue Group, Inc. (DGI). Immediate
flexible part-time professional position available for a
programmer/analyst with experience in cataloging and library metadata
management to work in our Windsor, CT office. There is an option to work
remotely.

Description: Work with a team of
professional and paraprofessional catalogers to optimize our workflow,
analyze and refine our automation processes, write documentation, and
troubleshoot our Koha ILS.
Required qualifications: Working
knowledge of Perl programming, Linux bash scripts, PHP, Excel formulas
and macros, Amazon Web Services, MARCEdit. Minimum 2 years of software
development experience. Some cataloging experience (RDA, AACR2, LC, DDC,
MARC21 formats, LCSH, OCLC). Exceptional communication skills, both
oral and written. Technological curiosity (i.e. willingness to pore
through documentation). Ability to think logically, work accurately and
maintain focus in a deadline-oriented production environment. Ability to
work both independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English.
Preferred experience/background: MLS/MSLIS/MLIS (ALA accredited).
Compensation: DOE (flexible work week, minimum 20 hours). This position
includes a pro-rated benefits package and 401(k) plan.
