Library Assistant, Part-time (2 positions available) - The Town of Glastonbury is accepting applications for the position of Library Assistant, Part-time (2 positions available). Salary: $17.56 per hour. Hours: 15 per week.
Incumbent is responsible for providing customer service and technical assistance to all library patrons. Duties include, but are not limited to, issuing library cards, checking materials in and out and inspecting for damage, cataloging and processing library materials, and answering and referring questions regarding library activities. The person in this position will also perform a variety of administrative tasks.
The minimum qualifications for this position are a high school diploma and two years of college or an Associate degree.
