Senior Reference Librarian - The East Lyme Public Library
is seeking a full-time, enthusiastic, and visionary senior level
Reference Librarian. This person will be responsible for providing
reference desk service and some administrative tasks. We are looking for
someone committed to exceptional customer service, able to work
cooperatively to offer special library services for the community, and
provide instruction to other staff and the public in using new
technologies. Willingness to do staff scheduling and experience doing so
strongly preferred. Opportunities to enact new ideas in implementing
our recent strategic plan; ideas for change and new initiatives
encouraged.
This is a full-time position at 37.5 hours a week, with
Saturdays in rotation, one evening a week, and full benefits. An M.L.S.
Degree from an ALA accredited library school and significant experience
working at a reference desk, preferably in a public library, are
required. Minimum salary $53,000 and dependent upon experience. Please
