Full Time Children’s Librarian - The Berlin-Peck Library, Berlin, CT is seeking an enthusiastic, forward-thinking person to join the Children’s Department team. Under the supervision of the Head of Children’s & Teen Services, the candidate will plan, publicize, and conduct programs; provide reader’s advisory; assist patrons and perform other duties as related to children and teens. The candidate must have experience working collaboratively with others along with excellent communication skills and a commitment to serving the needs of young library users, their families and caregivers. This union position is 35 hours per week and includes Saturdays and evenings. Salary is per collective bargaining agreement and starts at $45,808.
