Instructional Design & Social Sciences Librarian - (Job ID 2017424) UConn Library. Rank: University Librarian I (UCP 5). The UConn Library seeks a visionary and creative Instructional Design & Social Sciences Librarian to develop the Library’s online educational learning program. Under the general supervision of the Head of Reference & Curriculum Services, this position will create and assess online instructional modules that integrate with the University’s learning management system, HuskyCT (Blackboard e-Education platform). This position develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of current information literacy, instructional design, and educational assessment best practices. The incumbent will communicate effectively and work collaboratively with staff throughout the UConn Library and university-wide to enhance student research and critical thinking skills of a diverse population of students.
